On the banks of the River Mersey at the heart of the Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, ACC Liverpool is a world-class facility in a unique setting. The venue is an interconnected arena, convention and exhibition centre which plays a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool. Since its opening in 2008 the ACC has successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows to conventions, business gatherings to showcase exhibitions.

How to get there

AIR

From Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is eight miles from the city and is best reached by taxi or the express bus, directly outside the entrance to the airport terminal. 
The service is Arriva – Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Liverpool. 

The Arriva 500 bus service is now the fastest bus service to operate between the Airport and the city centre (Liverpool ONE Bus Station, adjacent to ACC with just a 5-minute walk from ACC.). Running between the Airport and Liverpool city centre (including Great Charlotte Street for Lime Street Rail Station), buses operate every 30 minutes between 4am and Midnight every day.  You can also get buses 86A*, 82A and 80A* to Liverpool city centre.

From Manchester Airport

If you head to the train station, within the airport, there is the option of getting to Liverpool by train or coach (National Express services).

National Express provides a regular bus service every day from Manchester Airport to Liverpool coach station next to Liverpool ONE, adjacent to ACC with just a 5-minute walk from ACC.

TRAIN

ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street train station onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink bus which runs every 12 minutes as a circular service around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street, inclusive in the cost of your ticket.  Regional and local rail connections bring us within easy reach of the North West and nearby regions.

TAXI

VISA and travelling

Delegates originating from certain countries will require a visa in order to visit Liverpool.  If you need to obtain a visa and would like us to provide you with a visa support letter for your application, please select the appropriate button when completing your registration form.

In order for us to issue you with a visa letter you will need to provide us with your passport information.
